Cathay Financial and China Airlines recognized by HR Asia awards

Several major Taiwanese corporations have been recognized at the 2026 HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia awards.

Cathay Financial Holding and its subsidiary, Cathay Securities, received six awards for their efforts in fostering inclusive workplaces and integrating artificial intelligence into human resources. Cathay Financial Holding has implemented a “Group AI Citizenization” strategy, including a strategic partnership with OpenAI to deploy enterprise ChatGPT. This initiative includes an “HR Knowledge Assistant” that resolves 97% of common employee inquiries within one minute. The group also emphasizes “Whole-person Care” to support employees balancing career and family responsibilities.

China Airlines has been honored with the award for the fourth consecutive year, making it the only national carrier in the region to achieve this streak. The airline received high marks for its organizational teamwork and cohesion.
