Cathedral Brass concludes organ festival in Świdnica

The Cathedral Brass band, part of the National Wind Orchestra in Lubin, performed at the Church of Peace in Świdnica to conclude the 11th Christian Schlag International Organ Festival. Conducted by Tomasz Kaniewski, the ensemble performed alongside organists Zuzanna and Maciej Bator.

The musical program featured works ranging from Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s ‘Te Deum’ to Modest Mussorgsky’s ‘The Great Gate of Kiev’. The performance held symbolic significance, serving as a message of peace following recent tragic events in Polish schools. The concert took place within the historic UNESCO World Heritage site, marking the end of a festival edition that included fourteen concerts.
