Catherine Cox AM inducted into Australian Netball Hall of Fame
Catherine Cox AM has been inducted into the Australian Netball Hall of Fame, recognizing a career that spanned nearly two decades at the highest levels of domestic and international play.
Cox, a prolific goal shooter, earned 108 Test caps for the Australian Diamonds and represented her country at three Netball World Cups and three Commonwealth Games. Her international achievements include winning gold at the 2007 and 2011 Netball World Cups.
Domestically, Cox amassed 254 National League appearances playing for several clubs, including the Sydney Swifts, Perth Orioles, West Coast Fever, and Melbourne Vixens. She was a key figure for the NSW Swifts, serving as the captain of their inaugural team and leading them to an ANZ Championship title.
Her induction will be officially honored at the 2026 Australian Netball Awards in October.
