Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrate joint birthdays

Hollywood actors Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones celebrated their joint birthdays on September 25. Douglas, turning 82, and Zeta-Jones, turning 57, shared affectionate tributes on social media, including a romantic photo of the couple in the ocean.

Douglas shared an excerpt from his upcoming memoir, ‘One Helluva Ride’, scheduled for release on October 6. In the text, he reflected on their relationship, stating, “I had never fallen in love on a movie screen before. Until I saw Catherine. She was magic, in a way that went beyond beauty.”

The couple, who met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998 and married in 2000, have two children, Dylan and Carys. Zeta-Jones also recently addressed discussions regarding ‘nepo babies’, defending her children’s right to build their own careers despite their family background.
