Cathie Wood's Ark Invest Rebalances Portfolio, Sells Robinhood and Roku, Buys Circle Shares
Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, reduced its holdings in three high‑profile stocks. The firm trimmed its position in Advanced Micro Devices, sold Robinhood Markets shares and exited Roku after the streaming platform agreed to be acquired by Fox. The moves reflect a mix of valuation concerns, slowing growth at Robinhood and the completion of Roku's merger.
On July 9 the firm added to its stake in Circle Internet Group, buying 217,896 shares for about $13.7 million while simultaneously selling roughly 85,300 Robinhood shares for $9.8 million. This purchase brings Ark’s total investment in Circle to over $37 million in two months, underscoring confidence in the USDC stablecoin despite revenue sensitivity to interest‑rate changes.
