A personal Catholic blog published a devotional article titled “Desperate desire,” in which the author reflects on the biblical story of Elisha’s steadfastness with Elijah and urges readers to pursue a “double portion” of the Holy Spirit through persistent desire.

The same site also posted the official Daily Mass readings for Monday, June 8 2026, including the first reading from 1 Kings 17, the responsorial Psalm 121, and the Gospel proclamation of the Beatitudes from Matthew 5.
