Catholic Caucus provides daily Mass readings and devotionals

The Catholic Caucus has provided daily religious reflections and Mass readings for mid-October 2026.

Reflections include a devotional on the themes of love and conflict, examining the biblical accounts of Jesus rebuking the Pharisees and scholars of the law. The commentary notes that Jesus’s actions demonstrated a harmony between mercy and the courage to confront hypocrisy.

Daily Mass readings for October 12 and 13 feature passages from the Book of Galatians. The readings focus on themes of spiritual freedom and the distinction between the law and faith, emphasizing that Christ intended for believers to remain free from the yoke of slavery.
