Catholic Church announces clergy appointments in Monreale and Cremona

The Archdiocese of Monreale has announced several new clergy appointments and pastoral changes following a two-week update period for the clergy. Bishop Gualtiero Isacchi issued the appointments, which include Don Gaspare Borsellino as a parochial vicar in Carini and spiritual assistant for the A.G.E.S.C.I. scouts. Other appointments include Don Vito Gallina, who will serve as an attaché to the Archbishop's Secretariat, and Don Roger Fombo Komlan, appointed as the parish administrator for the Sacro Cuore di Gesù in Grisì.

In a separate development within the Italian church, Bishop Antonio Napolioni has appointed Don Matteo Alberti as the new president of the Federazione Oratori Cremonesi (FOCR). Alberti, who currently serves as a diocesan official for youth ministry and an ecclesiastical assistant for Agesci scouts, will officially assume the presidency in the autumn, succeeding Don Francesco Fontana. Alberti noted the challenges facing modern youth ministry, including social media influence, educational emergencies, and the integration of second-generation immigrant youth.
