Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina marks 60th World Communications Day

The Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina marked the 60th World Day of Social Communications with a celebratory Mass on Sunday, September 27, in the parish of St. Mark and St. Luke in Cim, Ilići.

Archbishop Tomo Vukšić, President of the Council for Media of the Bishops' Conference of BiH, led the service. During his sermon, Vukšić emphasized that the use of social communications is a pastoral obligation for dioceses and communities. He noted that the Church recognizes these tools as essential for spreading the Gospel, education, and cultural advancement, especially given the new opportunities and challenges presented by modern inventions.

The event served as a call for the faithful to pray for media workers and to encourage the use of communication tools for dialogue, social good, and the growth of the Kingdom of God.
