Catholic communities in Catalonia hold prayer chain for vocations

Dioceses in Catalonia are participating in a Chain of Prayer for Vocations, an initiative aimed at supporting religious callings through communal prayer. Following an event held on November 5, additional prayer sessions are scheduled for November 15 and 25 to support the future of the Church.

The initiative aligns with Pope Francis’s message for the 2025 World Day of Prayer for Vocations, which describes vocation as a precious gift and a call to service. The movement encourages laity, those in ordained ministry, and those in consecrated life to serve as signs of hope. Participants are encouraged to pray within their parishes through the Eucharist, the Rosary, or acts of charity to support marriages and the priesthood.
