Catholic communities in Vietnam hold missionary training and adoration weeks

Religious activities focused on evangelization were held in several Vietnamese parishes. In the Vinh Phuc Deanery at Bao Son Parish, Father Joseph Nguyen Van Cong met with members of the Third Order and the Divine Mercy Association to discuss missionary missions and practical daily applications.

During the session, Father Joachim Nguyen Duc Thanh provided guidance on the Apostolic Exhortation on Evangelization by Pope Paul VI. Participants were encouraged to witness to the Gospel through personal renewal, social engagement, and the responsible use of media, with specific warnings regarding misinformation and AI-generated content on social platforms.

In Tan An Parish, celebrations commenced for a week of Eucharistic adoration to coincide with World Mission Sunday. Led by Father Joseph Nguyen Van Toanh, the community engaged in reconciliation and prayer for the Church's missionary work. Father Joseph Pham Van Hien emphasized that evangelization is achieved through a life of prayer and daily acts of charity and unity, following the 2026 message from Pope Leo XIV.
