Catholic leaders in Argentina and Bolivia emphasize faith and community service

Religious leaders in Argentina and Bolivia are emphasizing the role of faith and community through various diocesan gatherings and homilies.

In Argentina, approximately 650 participants gathered in Piedra Blanca for the Diocesan Encounter of Catechists. Led by Bishop Luis Urbanč, the event included workshops on topics such as digital culture, bioethics, ecological commitment, and disability, aimed at strengthening pastoral service and unity.

In Bolivia, Archbishop Oscar Aparicio of Cochabamba recognized the long-term service of urban and rural catechists, highlighting that authentic faith requires a personal encounter with Christ rather than mere theoretical knowledge. Meanwhile, Bishop Pascual Limachi of the Coro Coro prelatura addressed the faithful in both Spanish and Aymara, stressing the Church's role as a source of strength and justice during times of national uncertainty.
