Catholic organizations launch initiatives to integrate faith into business
A new diocesan guild for business owners has been formed in partnership with the international apostolate His Way At Work. The initiative aims to integrate faith into the workplace by consecrating businesses to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Named after Louis and Zelie Martin, the first married couple to be canonized, the guild seeks to create a community where business owners can support one another both spiritually and professionally.
Bishop Frank J. Caggiano conceived the partnership to encourage a Catholic framework for the care of employees, customers, and the community. An informational session regarding the guild is scheduled for October 22 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Fairfield.
In a related effort to address modern challenges, the Catholic Business Network of the Diocese of Wilmington is hosting a presentation titled ‘Soul of business: Catholic leadership in the age of A. I.’ The event features Father Joseph W. McQuaide IV and Pasquale ‘Pat’ Zingo, a software business owner with a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, to discuss the intersection of technology and faith.
