Catholic Schools Open Week scheduled for August 2026 in South Australia

Catholic Schools Open Week will be held from 17 to 23 August 2026 across metropolitan and regional South Australia. The programme includes more than 50 tours, classroom visits and community events, allowing families to meet principals, teachers and students while exploring facilities.

Dr Neil McGoran, executive director of Catholic Education South Australia, said the open week helps parents understand which environment best supports their child. Over 58,000 students attend Catholic schools in the state, supported by about 9,500 staff members.

Participating schools include St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School (Millicent), Nazareth Catholic Community, St Therese School and Compass Catholic Community, each offering its own schedule of activities. Families can book visits through the Catholic Education South Australia website.
