Catholic youth events held in Poços de Caldas and Curitiba

Catholic youth gatherings are taking place across Brazil, including the Aviva Jovem event in Poços de Caldas and the National Youth Day (DNJ) in Curitiba.

In Poços de Caldas, the Aviva Jovem initiative runs from September 4 to September 13. The program features prayer, adoration, celebrations, and musical performances, including a luau at Mirante do Cristo and a closing ceremony on Sunday with groups such as Gerados pela Imaculada and Adoração e Vida.

In Curitiba, the Arquidiocese de Curitiba is organizing the 2026 National Youth Day (DNJ). Following a record-breaking 2025 event that drew over 14,000 participants, the 2026 program includes music, preaching, workshops, sports, and spiritual direction. Organizers are currently monitoring weather forecasts provided by the Paraná Civil Defense; while light rain is predicted for the scheduled Saturday event, the coordination has confirmed that the program remains active, with a further update expected on September 11.
