Cathy Hummels faces logistical issues for Oktoberfest event

Moderator Cathy Hummels has reported significant logistical difficulties while preparing for her upcoming ‘WiesnBummel’ event at Oktoberfest. In social media posts on Instagram and LinkedIn, Hummels expressed frustration over a series of setbacks that have disrupted her planning.

Specific issues cited include delayed deliveries, customs problems involving guest goodie bags, and missing designs. Technical and logistical hurdles also included furniture that would not fit in the venue's elevator, damaged or incorrect shipments, and the failure of SIM cards for guest management mobile phones to arrive on time.

Hummels noted that she manages the event without a large agency, taking personal responsibility for the concept, guests, and partners. Despite the recent chaos, she stated her goal is to ensure the event feels seamless to her guests.
