Cato Networks launches AI-driven threat prevention as NatJack attacks expose network vulnerabilities
Researchers have highlighted a new class of network attacks dubbed NatJack, which hijack active TCP sessions and spoof DNS responses by manipulating NAT tables. The technique targets shared, poorly segmented networks and can give attackers control over critical traffic flows, raising concerns for enterprises that rely on NAT for isolation.
In response to the growing threat of AI‑assisted cyber‑attacks, Cato Networks announced its Agentic Threat Prevention platform. The cloud‑native solution deploys autonomous agents that analyze network telemetry, anticipate likely attack paths, and automatically adjust defenses across global points of presence. Cato’s co‑founder and CEO Shlomo Kramer emphasized that proactive, AI‑driven protection is needed to stay ahead of attackers who can generate exploits at machine speed.
