Cato Networks launches AI-driven tools to counter AI-assisted cyberattacks

Agentic CVE Mitigation aims to reduce the window between the disclosure of a vulnerability and the deployment of protection to just 45 minutes. By utilizing agentic research and a cloud-native architecture, the solution automates the analysis of new vulnerabilities and prepares countermeasures, a process that traditionally takes weeks. This capability focuses on implementing protections against exploitation rather than fixing the underlying software code.

Additionally, Cato Agentic Threat Prevention uses autonomous agents to anticipate probable attack paths and automatically customize protections for specific client environments. This system integrates network and security telemetry through a unified data lake to block threats before they progress. The company also provides Cato AI Security to monitor interactions with AI agents, inspecting data sent to and received from these platforms to ensure organizational policies are enforced.
