Cattolica: 21-year-old assaulted and robbed by group of ten

A 21-year-old seasonal worker from Treviso was surrounded and assaulted by a group of approximately ten individuals in Cattolica, near Gabicce Mare. The attack occurred around 2:30 AM in via Gran Bretagna. The victim sustained severe injuries, including a broken jaw, which required hospitalization in Riccione and subsequent surgery.

During the assault, the victim was reportedly robbed of his wallet and clothing. Witnesses or descriptions suggest the group involved may be of North African descent. The Carabinieri are currently conducting investigations to identify the perpetrators.

Local political groups, including Futuro Nazionale, have expressed solidarity with the victim and his family, calling for increased security, prevention, and a firm response to ensure the safety of young people in the region.
