Cattolica's Parco della Pace undergoes 150,000-euro redevelopment

Redevelopment work is progressing on the Parco della Pace in Cattolica, with an expected reopening and community celebration scheduled for October. The project involves a total investment of 150,000 euros, including 96,000 euros funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region as part of an integrated security and social cohesion initiative.

Recent updates include the installation of a bocce court and self-cleaning restroom facilities. Current works focus on the installation of 70 eco-sustainable benches made from recycled plastic and a new playground area. The playground will feature six structures, including traditional and inclusive equipment such as a basket swing and other accessible play options designed to accommodate a wide range of children.

Local officials stated that the project aims to improve urban quality, safety, and social aggregation by creating a more welcoming space for families and community events.
