Cauã Reymond Talks Fame and Privacy as He Launches ‘Jogada de Risco’ Series

Brazilian actor Cauã Reymond is both creator and lead of the new Globoplay series “Jogada de Risco,” which premiered on 23 July. In interviews he explained that the drama follows Maurício, a former footballer turned talent agent who tries to shield young athletes from the pitfalls of fame and money.

Reymond said the project, co‑written with Thiago Dottori and Sofia Maria and directed by Bruno Safadi, is his first major self‑produced effort. He highlighted the loss of privacy that comes with celebrity status, noting, “We lose a bit of privacy after we become famous,” and described himself as “by nature a reserved person” who wishes he could “go out more.” He also said he now shares more of his life on social media to connect with the public, a practice that did not exist fifteen years ago.

The actor emphasized his desire to stay grounded, learning from past mistakes and helping athletes avoid similar errors. “I always tried to keep my feet on the ground and learn from my own errors,” Reymond said.
