Caucete: Man arrested after school fan theft

An 18-year-old man, identified as Leandro Ezequiel Díaz Páez, was arrested following a theft at the Escuela Andina in Caucete, Argentina. On Sunday, November 1, police responded to a neighbor's report of illegal activity at the school located at the intersection of Ruta Provincial 270 and Colón Street.

Officers arrived to find two men attempting to transport stolen Everest brand wall fans. While one suspect managed to flee, Díaz Páez was apprehended approximately 35 minutes after the initial report. The school's primary director, Claudia Noemí Agüero, reported damage to the door of the agricultural room and the loss of two fans from the multipurpose hall.

This incident marks the second security breach at the institution this year, following a previous robbery in July that caused significant damage and student material loss. The current case has been classified as aggravated robbery by scaling, under the jurisdiction of the UFI Flagrancia.
