Caulonia hosts musical events to celebrate Bandiera Blu award

The town of Caulonia is hosting several cultural events to celebrate its fourth Bandiera Blu designation, awarded for the quality of its beaches and coastal waters. As part of the ‘Caulonia e le sue mille bolle blu’ initiative, the ItaloDisco Arena Summer Tour 2026 held a musical event featuring DJ Johnny La Mesa and various performers, bringing dance hits from the 1970s to the present to the local community.

Additionally, the 28th edition of the Kaulonia Tarantella Festival, titled ‘Suoni di Pace’ and dedicated to Angelo Frammartino, is scheduled from August 19 to 22. Directed by Mimmo Cavallaro, the festival includes free musical lessons on traditional instruments such as the tamburello, organetto, and lira calabrese. The program features various artists, including Dolcenera, who will perform Calabrian traditional songs alongside her standard repertoire.
