Caulonia Marina seagull rescued after citizen alert

A wounded seagull was rescued on a beach in Caulonia Marina following the intervention of a local teacher. After discovering the animal, the teacher secured it and alerted the municipal police.

Deputy Mayor Giovanni Maiolo noted that the Municipal Police Commander, Serena Scuderi, coordinated with the ASP (Azienda Sanitaria Provinciale) to facilitate the rescue. ASP personnel were dispatched to recover the bird and provide necessary medical care. The incident has been highlighted as an example of effective cooperation between citizens and local institutions.
