Cava de’ Tirreni welcomes nine new social service officials

Nine new officials have officially begun service at the Azienda Speciale Consortile Cava Costa d’Amalfi (A.S.C.C.C.A.) in Cava de’ Tirreni. This recruitment is part of the POSSO Project (Potenziamento Servizi Sociali), an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and implemented by ANCI as part of the National Program for Inclusion and the Fight against Poverty 2021–2027.

The new staff includes three administrative officials, one accounting official, two socio-pedagogical educators, one pedagogist, and two psychologists. The primary goal of this expansion is to strengthen local social services, ensure the implementation of Essential Levels of Social Performance (LEPS), and support local municipalities with management and reporting activities.

During the welcoming ceremony at the Cava de’ Tirreni City Hall, Mayor Raffaele Giordano emphasized the importance of these roles for the community. Paolo Wuillermieur, Mayor of Ravello and President of the Assembly, noted that the new hires would serve as the foundation for the organization. Carmine Memoli, President of the Board of Directors, described the event as the result of planning efforts initiated in January.
