Cava to Open First Northern California Restaurants in Bay Area

Mediterranean fast‑casual chain Cava announced its first Northern California locations, with the debut restaurant set to open next year at 3055 Olin Avenue, Suite 1035 in Santana Row, San Jose. The company also confirmed plans for two additional sites closer to San Francisco, though exact addresses and timelines remain undisclosed. Each new outlet is expected to employ roughly 25 to 40 local workers. Cava, often described as a Mediterranean counterpart to Chipotle, now operates more than 450 locations nationwide, including about 45 in California, and has been expanding rapidly since its first restaurant opened in 2011.
