Cavalaria 2 de Julho secured a spot in the Atlantic/Northeast Conference semifinals of the Brazilian American Football Championship after defeating João Pessoa Espectros 42-7. The match took place at the Joia da Princesa Stadium in Feira de Santana.

The victory places Cavalaria in second place within the conference. They are scheduled to face Fortaleza Tritões in the regional semifinal on October 18, with the winner advancing to the conference final.
