Cavit Akbulut creates 400kg mosque model in Ordu

Cavit Akbulut, a 65-year-old resident of Ordu, has completed a massive, self-designed mosque model after two years of intermittent work. Created as a hobby to pass the time, the model was designed entirely from Akbulut's imagination without using any existing mosque as a template.

The structure is constructed from thick wood and natural stone, weighing approximately 400 kilograms. It measures 1.70 meters in length and 80 centimeters in width, featuring intricate religious architectural details such as a mihrab and minber.

The model is currently being exhibited at the indoor market area in the Bucak neighborhood, where it has become a local attraction for visitors and children.
