Cavour, Argentina Schedules 2026 Patron Saint Festivities

The municipality of Cavour announced the programme for its traditional Patron Saint Festivities in August 2026. Activities begin on 1 August with a skate festival and continue with a truco tournament on 7 August. The central event on 8 August will honor patron saint Santo Domingo de Guzmán, featuring a flag‑raising, national anthem, a newly unveiled artwork dedicated to resident Abel Widder by artist Ignacio Rodríguez, a mass and evening popular dance.

Further events include the 105th anniversary dinner of Club Atlético Cavour on 14 August, a folk music gathering on 15 August, a pilgrimage to Capilla San Roque on 16 August, a boules tournament on 17 August, a Children’s Day celebration on 23 August and a closing birthday dinner with the band Los Candela on 29 August.
