Cavriago: Man charged after assaulting worker with screwdriver and punch

A 42-year-old man from Brescello has been reported to the Reggio Emilia Prosecutor's Office following a violent assault at a workshop in Cavriago on September 18. The incident reportedly began as a heated argument between the customer and a 45-year-old employee.

During the dispute, the customer allegedly brandished a screwdriver and threatened the worker, stating, “Vattene, sennò ti ammazzo” (Go away, or I'll kill you). The situation escalated when the man struck the employee in the face with a punch and caused injuries to his arms. The victim was subsequently transported by ambulance to the Montecchio Emilia emergency room for medical treatment.

Carabinieri from Quattro Castella responded to the scene, identified the individuals involved, and collected witness testimonies. The aggressor voluntarily surrendered the screwdriver used in the attack, which has been seized by authorities. The individual faces charges of aggravated threat, assault, and personal injury.
