Cavriglia faces political dispute over Fontebussi conflict of interest allegations

A political controversy has erupted in Cavriglia following allegations of a conflict of interest made by Lucia Gori, a municipal councilor from the Fratelli d’Italia party. In a video shared on social media, Gori suggested that a member of the municipal administration may hold shares in the company managing the Fontebussi tourist complex, arguing that administrators should not conduct business within the territories they govern.

The majority group, Insieme per Cavriglia, has categorically denied these claims, stating that no member of the Giunta holds shares in the company or engages in business with Fontebussi. The majority group has announced intentions to pursue legal action against the accusations.

Additionally, the management company, Tuscan Holdings Srl, has also decided to take legal steps, and the local Democratic Party (PD) has called for Gori’s immediate resignation. The mayor, Leonardo Degli Innocenti o Sanni, has also responded to the situation.
