Caxias do Sul Book Fair features university science projects and radio history

The 42nd Caxias do Sul Book Fair, held at Praça Dante Alighieri, features diverse cultural and educational programming. The University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) is participating with its bookstore, publisher (EDUCS), and the “Science in the Community” project. This initiative, organized by the UCS Natural Sciences Museum, aims to democratize access to science, biodiversity, and environmental education through itinerant exhibits.

Additionally, the fair hosted an autograph session for the book “Rádio Caxias – Há 80 Anos a Voz da Cidade.” Written by journalist Marcos Kirst, the work commemorates the 80th anniversary of Rádio Caxias by documenting the station's history and its relationship with the local community. The book launch included historical research and photographic curation to preserve the regional heritage of the Serra Gaúcha.
