Caxias do Sul cancels lighting contract for Enxutão stadium

The Caxias do Sul municipal government has formally rescinded its contract with SV Engenharia e Serviços Ltda. for the installation of the lighting system at the Enxutão stadium. The decision follows slow progress by the contractor, which failed to complete even the first of four planned stages despite a deadline set for September.

The project, funded by parliamentary amendments totaling R$ 370,000, is intended to be the final phase of a broader revitalization of the sports complex. Following the settlement of payments for work already completed, the municipality plans to launch a new bidding process to finish the installation.
