Caxias do Sul hosts 19th Concerto da Primavera

The 19th Concerto da Primavera will take place on September 20 in Caxias do Sul to celebrate Rio Grande do Sul musical traditions and Gaucho Day. The event is scheduled for 10:00 AM at the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS) campus parking lot, with the UCS Theater serving as a backup in case of rain.

Directed by maestro Manfredo Schmiedt, the UCS Orchestra will perform a repertoire spanning traditionalist, regional, and contemporary urban music. Featured works include classics such as ‘Céu, Sol, Sul, Terra e Cor’, ‘Vento Negro’, ‘Canto Alegretense’, and ‘Querência Amada’, alongside contemporary pieces by artists like Vitor Ramil, José Fogaça, and Kleiton & Kledir. The concert is organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, UCS, and Unimed Serra Gaúcha.
