Cayetano Bolzán and Agustín Martegani transfer to Uruguay and Colombia

Cayetano Bolzán, a 20‑year‑old striker from Gimnasia, will join Uruguay’s Deportivo Maldonado on an 18‑month loan without fee or purchase option. The move follows the player’s decision to part ways with his former agent and take advice from ex‑Estudiantes forward Mauro Boselli. Bolzán’s contract with Gimnasia runs until December 2028 and he had recently featured in a preseason friendly before being excluded from the squad traveling to Russia.

Mid‑season, Boca Juniors midfielder Agustín Martegani has been loaned to Colombia’s Independiente Medellín for one year. The deal includes a $50,000 loan fee and an option to buy 80 % of his rights for $1.8 million. Martegani, who arrived at Boca in mid‑2024 for $2.6 million and made only 13 appearances, said the Colombian club offers a demanding environment and the chance to win titles. Both transfers are part of squad restructuring to give the players more playing time.
