Cazzu responds to legal dispute involving Christian Nodal

Argentine singer Cazzu has responded to a legal controversy involving her former partner, Mexican singer Christian Nodal, claiming she has been “silenced legally and above all unjustly.” The dispute centers on the “Ley Cazzu” (Cazzu Law), a popular initiative in Mexico aimed at easing travel and mobility restrictions for children when one parent fails to meet certain obligations.

The tension escalated following reports that Nodal’s legal team filed an injunction (amparo) to block the initiative. Nodal’s lawyers clarified that the legal action does not target the legislative content of the proposal itself, but rather the use of the name “Ley Cazzu” and the specific narrative surrounding his daughter, Inti.

Cazzu expressed through social media that the situation has impacted her peace and resources, alleging that the legal maneuvers are being used to manipulate the facts. She stated that she has had to face various “caprices” that are unrelated to the upbringing of her daughter.
