CB Canarias defeats Gran Canaria in preseason basketball friendly

CB Canarias secured a 96-84 victory against Gran Canaria in a preseason basketball friendly held at the Santiago Martín arena. The match was played behind closed doors without spectators or press.

Under coach Jaka Lakovic, the team demonstrated strong collective play and rebounding dominance, securing 42 rebounds compared to Gran Canaria’s 27. Key contributors included Happ and López-Aróstegui, who recorded six rebounds each. The roster featured thirteen professional players and U22 guard Rafa Rodríguez, with five players reaching double-digit scoring.
