CB Canarias launches youth basketball program in La Laguna

The CB Canarias Foundation is launching the third consecutive edition of ‘Una mañana de baloncesto con el CB Canarias’ this October. Part of the ‘No a las adicciones, sí al baloncesto, elige vida’ project in La Laguna, the initiative uses basketball to promote healthy lifestyles and combat addictive behaviors among adolescents.

Scheduled for October 7 and 21 at the Alberto Delgado Pavilion, the sessions will host approximately 120 students from various local secondary schools. The program includes basketball stations, psychological workshops, and equality workshops organized by the Asociación Equidades Canarias. The activity aims to foster social coexistence by mixing students from different educational centers.
