Copa do Brasil Sub-20 CBF Brazilian youth football tournament expansion football competition

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has released the preliminary schedule for the 2026 Copa do Brasil Sub-20, which will be the largest edition in the tournament's history. The competition is expanding from 32 to 64 participating clubs, doubling the field and increasing the total number of matches from 45 to 77.

In the Pará region, Paysandu will face Macapá-AP, while Tuna Luso will compete against Batalhão-TO. In the Amazonas region, Nacional is set to play União Cacoalense-RO, and Amazonas FC will face Monte Roraima-RR.

The first two stages and the final will consist of single-match knockout rounds, with the tournament scheduled to begin on September 9. From the round of 16 through the semifinals, matches will be played in a home-and-away format. The champion will earn a spot in the Supercopa do Brasil Sub-20.
