The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are intensifying investigations into several high-profile cases in Andhra Pradesh. These inquiries involve allegations of a liquor scam, the Tirumala adulterated ghee case, the Vivekananda Reddy murder investigation, and disproportionate assets cases.
In recent developments, a special court has moved to hear cases regarding alleged disproportionate assets on a day-to-day basis. Related actions include the appearance of retired IAS officer Y.
