CBI to file final charge sheet in NEET UG paper leak case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is reportedly nearing the final stage of its probe into the NEET UG paper leak scandal and is expected to file its final charge sheet in court within the coming week.

The investigation follows widespread controversy regarding the integrity of India’s largest medical entrance examination, which involved allegations of paper leaks, organized solver gangs, and malpractice. The scandal triggered significant protests and political debate, reaching the Indian Parliament and raising questions about the security protocols of the National Testing Agency (NTA).

CBI raids conducted across several states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, have identified various masterminds, intermediaries, and members of cheating networks. The upcoming charge sheet is expected to present digital and documentary evidence detailing the specific roles of the accused in the organized syndicate.
