CBMERJ opens 192 temporary health specialist vacancies

The Military Firefighters Corps of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ) has opened applications for 192 temporary volunteer military service positions (SMTV). The vacancies are for the role of 1st Lieutenant BM Specialist, specifically targeting professionals in the health sector.

Available specialties include various medical fields such as cardiology, general surgery, psychiatry, neurology, and pediatrics, as well as dentists, nutritionists, psychologists, and physiotherapists. Compensation starts at R$ 10,466.77 during the training period and increases to R$ 12,279.71 upon completion.

Applications are open from October 19 until November 9, 2026, via the Instituto AOCP website. There will be no objective exam; instead, selection will be based on a title evaluation and other stages defined in the notice. Fee waivers are available for specific groups, including CadÚnico registrants, bone marrow donors, and certain electoral justice workers.
