CBN leads news radio preference among Brazilian executives
A survey conducted by InPress Porter Novelli and the Brazilian Institute of Research and Data Analysis (IBPAD) reveals shifting information consumption habits among Brazilian C-level executives. The study, which interviewed 107 executives from 13 economic sectors, shows that CBN remains the leading news radio station, preferred by 54% of respondents.
There is a notable trend toward digital and long-form content. Podcast preference grew significantly from 3% to 17% over the last five years, while the number of executives citing a favorite printed newspaper rose from 47% in 2021 to 84% in the current study. Valor Econômico remains the most cited newspaper for business and economic news, with a 63% preference rate.
In terms of digital influence, news websites and portals are the primary general information source for 64% of executives. Additionally, the survey highlights the integration of technology in professional life, noting that 90% of executives use artificial intelligence tools daily, though only 28% use AI specifically for following news.
