CBRE reports revenue growth driven by infrastructure services

CBRE reported a 12.7% increase in third-quarter revenue to $11.517 billion, with net income rising 22% to $443 million. Despite the growth, shares fell more than 6% following the announcement as the company warned that high interest rates continue to pressure its real estate capital markets businesses.

The company is seeing significant expansion in its technical infrastructure services, particularly within the data center sector. Infrastructure services revenue grew 80%, and management expects this segment to reach nearly $7 billion in revenue by 2027, representing a growth of more than 40% from 2026 levels.

To support this growth, CBRE is prioritizing mergers and acquisitions over share buybacks. This includes the planned acquisition of London-based Onnec for an upfront payment of £460 million. Chief Financial Officer Emma Giamartino maintained the full-year core earnings per share guidance range of $7.80 to $7.90.
