CBS announces crossover episodes for FBI and CIA

CBS has announced crossover episodes for the Fall 2026 premiere of its series ‘FBI’ and ‘CIA’. The two Dick Wolf productions will feature character exchanges to link their storylines.

In the Season 2 premiere of ‘CIA’, titled ‘The Deep’, FBI Special Agent Stuart Scola, played by John Boyd, will appear. The episode involves the team investigating a cartel fixer and the death of a DEA agent. Scola, an old friend of CIA character Bill Goodman, will assist the team in a joint SWAT operation.

Conversely, the Season 9 premiere of ‘FBI’, titled ‘Rendition’, will feature Necar Zadegan’s character, Deputy Chief of Station Nikki Reynard, joining the FBI team. The episode follows an investigation into the murder of a traveler linked to a government-sponsored top-secret project, requiring Reynard’s expertise in international cases.
