CBS Friday night programming updates for Sheriff Country and Fire Country

CBS continues its Friday night procedural lineup with updates for two Northern California-set series.

In the series ‘Sheriff Country’, the second season will air episode 4, titled ‘Maria’, on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. The episode is available via local CBS affiliates, live digital subscriptions such as Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV, or through Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

In the fifth season of ‘Fire Country’, the episode ‘What Needs to Be Done’ aired on October 23, 2026. The plot follows Bode as he attempts to establish a volunteer firefighting program at Station 42 amidst mounting financial pressures and skepticism from officials who prefer relying on CalFire.
