CBS orders three unscripted series including Undercover Boss revival

CBS unscripted series Undercover Boss Stacks of Cash television programming

CBS has announced orders for three unscripted series, including a revival of the Emmy Award-winning show ‘Undercover Boss’. The 12th season of the series will feature Drew Carey as the host, marking a change from previous seasons that did not have a host. The show, produced by Studio Lambert, follows corporate leaders as they go undercover within their organizations.

In addition to the revival, the network is introducing two new series. ‘Stacks of Cash’, a game show hosted by Mike O’Malley, is currently in post-production and was filmed in Portugal. The third series, currently titled ‘24 Hour Millionaire’, is in pre-production and comes from the executive producers of ‘Big Brother’.

Mitch Graham, executive vice president of alternative series at CBS, stated that these orders are part of a commitment to building a deep, year-round unscripted slate of ambitious and entertaining formats.
