CBSE and DGE announce updates for upcoming board examinations

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification regarding the List of Candidates (LOC) for the 2026-27 academic year. Affiliated schools are instructed to prepare accurate student details, including names, dates of birth, and subject schemes, for Classes 10 and 12 to ensure smooth examination processes. While registration for Classes 9 and 11 is also approaching, the official datesheet for the 2027 board exams has not yet been released.

Separately, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) announced that private candidates for Class 10 board exams can register for practical exam training from September 15 to September 30. This registration is specifically for practical training classes and does not serve as the primary board exam registration. Candidates must attend at least 80% of the training sessions to be eligible for the science practical examination.
