CBSE issues notice for 2027 exam registration and data verification

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notice regarding the registration and List of Candidates (LOC) process for the 2027 examinations. Affiliated schools have been instructed to prepare student and subject details in advance for Classes 9 and 11 registration, as well as the LOC for Classes 10 and 12.

The board emphasized the necessity of rigorous data verification to prevent recurring issues such as incorrect subject codes, mismatched student or parent details, and errors in dates of birth or gender. CBSE noted that previous inaccuracies have led to operational difficulties and avoidable delays in the examination process. Schools are required to verify all information against official admission registers and ensure that photographs and signatures meet specified formats before submission.
