CBSE releases 2027 sample papers for Classes 10 and 12

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released subject-wise Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2026–27 academic session. These resources are available in PDF format on the official CBSE Academic website.

The board stated that the purpose of these documents is to provide a template for uniformity and to help ensure proper coverage of the curricula. The sample papers are designed to mirror the structure and question types of the actual exams, while the marking schemes serve as evaluation guides for examiners.

There are no changes to the assessment scheme, question paper patterns, or passing criteria for the 2026–27 session. Students must still secure at least 33 per cent in each subject to pass. An official timetable for the 2027 board exams has not yet been released.
